try autotrader.com 35801 for the area code, just look around there and you can find what kind of trucks are in your price range.
jeeps are fairly cheap and cheap to lift. im 18 and i have had my TJ wrangler for about 6 months now and i love it... but look around autotrader, that will probaly be your best bet. |

84 and 85 are the best years for the Toy truck or 4runner. 85 is the best of those two, if you can find a solid axle with fuel injection. The 86 through 93 can be converted fairly easily to solid axle, if you weld or have a friend who can weld.
Jeeps are for delivering mail. |

That wasn't the sentiment you expressed when I was winching your broke junk at Estill Fork! I guess I need to get a Toyota Recovery Sticker for the Jeep now, huh? |

Put a stock fj-40 vs. a jeep the fj-40 would win no problem. The axle housing are similar to the ford 9inch, and the differential carriers are constructed similar to the chevy 12 bolt, and the axle shafts are 33mm the same as some dana 60's. A stock toy would kick a jeeps butt.

FJ's were from the 60-70s i belive, so put that against a CJ5 a little jeep with a big V8 and 3 speed, i think it would be a darn close competion, tho i would put my money on the jeep

I was thinking about this. If either jeep or toyota were so great. we all wouldn't be poor from makeing constant upgrades to our rigs.
