politics aside it makes me wonder how well large insurance companies like progressive can cover their customers since they blast us with tv ads, internet ads, print ads, ads on billboards, ads on buses, ads on cars, ads on the radio, ads on your cell phone, etc etc.  their advertising budget has to be redonkulous.

I ditched those idiots years ago after they jerked me around on hail damage repairs.  I had no idea this was going on behind the scenes though. Angry

X2, Indeed.  If you were to add up the initially entertaining but quickly tiresome ads for geckos and Flo-with-the-buffaunt-hairdo and mayhem-like-me and mr serious allstate whatever others Im forgetting it becomes pretty obvious to me that we are ALL paying too much for insurance because they all have waaaay too much money to spend claiming to be able to save me 15% under everyone else.

Bad thing is with geico they were cheaper than everybody else which means everybody else is spending it on something other than advertising.

i wonder if there is a study or analysis of what percentage of non local commercials on TV are insurance ads.  I'd have to put my money on probably 25% of all the non local  TV ads you see are related to insurance
