I need a 8" carrier for a 87 4cyl 4x4 toyota rearend. I can get one new for 100.00 shipping and all. But I don't have that much to spend.

I have one that I can pull for you but it will be Monday or Tuesday before I can get to it.  How about $75 and you come pick it up.  Do you need a spare right rear axle as well? If so, I have one.

I have a welded carrier on eBay right now, will probably go pretty cheap.  I would post a link, but it seems this board is not FireFox Browser friendly to let me paste a link.

If you get it, I will be in B'ham the week of the 18th and could meet you somewhere on the way up or back.

search eBay item 7958815937
Toyota 4x4 truck locker welded differential carrier

If not, I can look around and see if I have any open carriers.

Howdy, David!  (post hijack by the admin.....hmmm, bad precedent here...)

You should be able to click on the globe/chainlink icon  and enter the text of a URL, or else just shift-insert or CTRL V the text into the text window.....either way it *should* work.  We have some folks using firefox who havent reported any issues like that.  LMK what it does by PM, I am curious.
