This is such a dilemma for me.  I really want AU to win, but....I also would like to see UA do something that's never been done before (win 3 in a row).

#1 vs #4 . Have both teams ever been rated this high going into the iron bowl? I can't remember.

That is one game where the rankings and records are almost meaningless.  If they are both ranked somewhere in the top twenty, it is almost always a very close game.  I think Auburn will be leading at halftime; what happens in the second half is anyone's guess.

Whoever wins that game will have a very tough time in the sec championship game only 7 days later.

What a GAME!  Saban made some poor decisions, and Bama just didnt play as well as they have been.  Got a bit cocky, I think.  So now we play Mizzou, which I think is highly over-rated.

Congratulations on a big win.  Sabin has always been a sucker for long field goal attempts, but the guy almost made the thing. As Bear would say, we should have never been in that situation anyway.  Too many dropped passes, too many mistakes, too many missed tackles, too many bad decisions; they basically pissed that game away; they weren't prepared for that game; they needed on open date the week before.

If winston gets indicted and AU beats Missouri, y'all may be playing OSU for the whole thing.  Don't underestimate Missouri, they ARE the real thing.  Whether they show up in Atlanta is another question.

My retired boss reminded me via facebook that the word "fan" is a diminuation of the word "fanatic".   Indeed.

I keep hearing on sports radio that an Auburn loss to Missouri could result in an AU/UA rematch in the Sugar Bowl.  That would be painfull to watch whatever the outcome.

I heard this interview, which by itself was pretty good.  But the calls afterwards from alabama fans was comedy gold.
