Hey guys, I'm new to the area.  Just moved to Guntersville.  DRM told me about your board.  Looks like a great group of guys.  Anyway, I need to know where I can get Steel from.  I need some square tube to move my front axle forward and I need some round tube to build an antiwrap bar.  I'm in the middle of doing a 1 ton swap on my CJ7.  Hopefully there is a place in my direction where I can buy steel by the foot.  Thanks.

Welcome to North Alabama!

People in the Club usually get their steel at Service Steel, but it's located in Hsv.  I don't know of a source for steel in Guntersville, though.

You do have Mike's Surplus there in Guntersville, a great place for bolts, screws and other neat industrial stuff at great prices.  You also have Fant's (formerly Hammer's) a great place for camo clothing during their Labor Day sales.

Thanks for the help Big Red.  Yeah Fants and Mikes are great.  I really enjoy living here.  As soon as I get mine back in one piece I'll have to hook up with ya'll.
