Brad's and Jake's pics are posted.  I'll get Al's up shortly.

Jeeze, yall take a LOT of pictures!  I had to shrink these to 640X480, and still just Brad's and Al's were nearly 50MB!!

I can put together a CDROM of all the fullsize pics and videos, if anyone wants one.

Graham,

Glad to see you made it to our website.  We enjoyed your company this weekend.  I like your pic under your name.  When I took the picture, I thought it would make a good Avatar for you.

Just so yall know, its not simply a matter of just copy and paste.  I have to convert all movie files to a streaming format so that the webserver can push them out, and resize them so they are a reasonable size.....the one movie is probably close to 50 mb by itself.

So I have to take each one, and use the microsoft encoder to reformat the movie, which requires several passes through the file.  Then I gotta copy the file to the server (which takes some time for each file, even with broadband) and then open and edit whatever web page is going to be the link to the movie itself.  (Case, you getting all this?)

The pics have to be put in one directory, sorted by timestamp and then renamed so they are sequential (renamemaster.exe, thanks for finding that one, AL) and then I go through and rotate any that are sideways, then I run the jpegsize.exe to size them all to same size.  Once that's done, I use EGG (easy gallery generator) to make all the thumbnails and the gallery pages with the forward, back and thumbnail link.  Once the gallery is generated, I copy the gallery to the website (that alone took nearly an hour for Brad's and Jake's pics), then edit the master pics page to add the link to the gallery.

I got the pics done last night, late, and I will try to get the vids either tonight or tomorrow night.

Not whining, just wanted yall to know that its not as simple as it may seem.

When I go to the link above, it works fine but when I start out on our homepage and click on the Trail Pictures link, there is not a link in that bottom left box for Windrock pics (Jake's and Brad's or Al's)

Who knows.

It's there for me.

BTW:  How do you copy your files over to a CD such that the files retain their original time and date stamp?  Mine didn't, which is why Doc had to separate mine from the others.

Thanks,

Al

Open the page, and click on reload or hit F5.

under TOOLS, OPTIONS, under the GENERAL tab, "temporary Internet Files" setting, be sure that the "check for new version of pages" is set to "automatic".  If you have an older version of IE, then I dont know where the setting will be, but basically you are seeing a cached page instead of the new version.

Doc told me how.  When you burn the CD, select the files to burn directly from the camera memory card.  The files on the CD will have the same time/date as the files on the camera memory stick.

The down side of this is that you will get every last photo you took.  Many times I take several photos of one thing.  Also, you lose your ability to do any post processing (like cropping).

Does anyone know how to save the photos to your computer, edit them and still maintane the original time/date stamp?

Ok, I'll try that tomorrow.  I usually copy to my hard drive, then not use the memory sticks again, lost one once, cost me $$.

I'll do another CD tomorrow for Doc.

Thanks,

Al

Doc is running 4.88's and 35 or 36" tires.  I'm running 5.29's and 35".  Donny is running 35" tires, don't know what his gear ratio is.  I think Nick runs 5.29's also.

MAN!! Really wish I could have made this one. I need to modify our training schedule to be able to get more trail rides in!    Seems like most of our rides are weekends on which we have the Marines in for drill

Tires looked bigger than that, that's why I was curious. I'm running some wore out 39.5 tsls with ringed longs and stock inners right now.
