Good job Doc!! From the ARRA December newsletter.http://www.arra-access.com/site/PageServer?pagename=arra_washingtonnewsletter_dec2013 Volunteers Needed
The land agencies, both federal and state, have their budgets stretched and many simple maintenance projects, ranging from clearing trails of fallen trees to picking up trash, are not getting done. OHV clubs throughout the country are making a difference by “pitching in.” If you don’t know what to do or how to help, contact your local DNR official or federal land supervisor and say you want to help. Sometimes it is hard to get their attention because some have the belief that “managing” volunteers is more trouble than it is worth. That attitude places on us an added burden to prove them wrong, but OHV clubs are doing just that. Give it a shot; the reward in helping out more than compensates for the personal energy used in getting the job done. |

Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But the U.S. ARMED FORCES don't have that problem. -Reagan MOLON LABE 85ish CJ-7/06 CTD |
