Whats something you want for your ride? I'm curious to see everyone's goals .
I was looking at several 6" long arm lifts. Then found an 8" lol... I have no clue how I would get in either without step bars. |

I planned it out in 2000-looked good on paper! X-mas parade '07 first ride. I need something more road friendly but I'm stuck with it now.

ARB air-locker for my rear diff
Shrockworks rear-tire carrier/bumper
Gobi hatch ladder
Either a Shrockworks front bumper or custom tube bumper with winch mount
or just a lump sum of cash to pay my rig off would be nice too. lol

Is this limited to 4x4s only?
I'd like a lift, tires, axles, onboard air, bumpers, winch, sliders, and a cage for my TJ. John |

Oh yeah... almost forgot a good OBA setup. Thinking dual 5 gal. tanks with dual Viair compressors would work nicely.
And a gas tank skid wouldn't hurt since mine looks like a cashew now.

I want my wide track axles built with the 456 gears, spool in the rear, lockright in the front, one piece shafts. I have my top now and a horn, but I still need my electric fans installed; my other winshield wetsanded, painted, and new glass installed; a CB; my other 304 rebuilt and fuel injected (woohoo no more carb.). When all that is said and done. I want to rebuild another transmission, so I can have a spare. I am still debating whether or not to wetsad my other grill and paint it brown or red or just leave the red one I have. My jeep was an operation merging an 83 and a 78 CJ together. Body of a 78 and innards of an 83. I love my old jeep, and it reminds me of the old blue one I grew up with. I am currently looking for some slighly used 33" ATs to go on my spare set of wheels. After driving the jeep to work Monday and Tuesday with three bent wheels on mudtires, I realize how much nicer it would be to drive on the road with ATs and straight wheels.Edited by 78CJChic - 11 February 2009 at 4:08am |
