Will the AX-15 drop in to a 4cyl with an AX-5?  Are the spline counts different?  I'd be SOOO tempted to do this.

How many miles on the transmission setup?

Being that it would be a complete swap, i.e. including the clutch disc and transfer case - there shouldn't be any spline count issues...

The Jeep has ~145K miles. I changed all the fluids to Redline oils when I bought the Jeep ~18 months ago.

No - the stock skid plate is long gone to the scrap yard... replaced by the RE LA system.

OH - it DOES make a difference! I don't know the exact % reduction, but it makes everyday driving AND off-road much better.

Well worth the investment in my opinion.

Not gonna split it up... you can buy them new for ~$190

They're simple to install - 30minutes max.

UPDATE!

FINALLY got the transmission and xfer case pulled this weekend!
Willing to split it up to help sell the stuff.

Here's the split;

'97 TJ Sport AX15 Transmission ~145K miles, complete with bellhousing
Complete Clutch Setup - Disc, Preesure Plate & Throwout Bearing are less than 2 years old, probably ~10K miles
Flywheel - good condition
Dust Shield
B&M Short Throw Shifter for the AX15 - awesome shifter, makes the AX15 almost a performance tranny (less than 1 year old) over $200 new.
(2) Clutch Master/Slave Cynlinder setups (I had a spare)
Stock Shifter

$350 pickup S.E. Huntsville, will deliver nearby for gas $

[deleted the transfer case details and pics]
