I am in need of a rear end for my 97 TJ so I can go larger on tires. If anyone has or knows where I can get a fairly cheap setup I would be intersted! Email me at college_uah@mchsi.com

I bought a D44 out of a 2000 TJ off of Ebay last year. It was $1,000. I sold my old D35 on Ebay for $250 (I think).

Thanks 98TJ I made this post back when I thought the D35 was crap and I was made of money LOL...I have decided to just wheel on the D35 open diff and if/when it breaks I will then have a "reason" to upgrade to the D44 with airlocker I think I have just about tapped out the wife's patience with money spent on the jeep in 1 month |

LOL, Yes I posted this message back when I was thinking of going with larger tires and doing the whole SYE, CV driveshaft ect ect....just replacing every part I opted to keep the basic geometry of my jeep and give her slightly more clearance and a meaner set of shoes... I would be interested in the D35 with the 4.10 gears as my current D35 I belive has the 3.07 gears! how many miles are on the D35? |

I just don't want the 3.07 gears...if the price is low enough I would consider it as it would give me a spare set of axles and better gearing....if he wants a lot he can keep them for someone else

8.8s are stout...they're just c-clip which is why people don't like them...
