   The revolutionary 4.5-liter turbo-diesel is put on indefinite hold as a result of GM’s economic woes. 

What a cop-out.  This could have turned into something good for GM, but those imbeciles who run that entity are too afraid to do what's right.  Oh well.  GM wont exist in 10 years, and this decision (and many others like it) are the reason why.

	So GM thinks that by keeping that engine off the market, the demand for it will make the government give them more money? That's the best theory they can come up with? Why don't they worry about selling vehicles instead of worrying about how they are going to get the corporate equivalent of food stamps. To make it worse, they'll probably unveil some urban suburban beast with home theater, satellite phone and a microwave oven that they hope to make the cornerstone and savior of the truck / SUV lines. GM has literally become the equivalent of a street corner beggar shaking their cup and holding a sign. Sorry for the rant but this is one topic that gets under my skin quick.

	Stupid move GM would have sold a ton of Half ton duramax truck with 25+ mpg.
