Hey, I am new here as well, dont quite know how this works. Can I go on some trail rides but not have to join a group? Im in the huntsville area and dont know of any good trails or any good mud holes to play around in so I'm lookin around. If yall could let me know of any good trails or mud holes that I could get into let me know, or if it would be a good idea for me to join, just give me info how when where and how. Thanks yall

This club tends to try to stay away from mudholes - it just does too much damage to the rigs (seals, bearings, electrical etc).  We welcome newbies on club rides, and will help you be prepared and get you through difficult sections of trail.

Our club meets first Wednesday of every month at Schlotsky's Deli in Madison at 7:00 pm.  We try to have a club ride every month, although the last few weeks we have been pretty much totally focused on the competition event scheduled for 8/28 and 29.

Once that's over, and I recover from it, I intend to get back out on the trails!

Check out the Southern Four Wheel Drive Assn website for info about Dixie Run.  This is the biggest gathering of 4X4 enthusiasts on the east coast, and it occurs first weekend of October at Tellico ORV area in Western NC.

As a club, we tend to protect our riding places....like fisherman will protect his good fishing spots.
