From Scott Worsham comes this update on Citizens Emergency Response Teams training offered through the City of Huntsville. Last week, we had to cancel class due to a tornado watch. That forced another change in our schedule. We apologize for any inconvieniences this might cause. CERT class is being held at the Huntsville Fire Academy, 3011 Sparkman Dr. NW Huntsville on Mondays at 6:30PM. The class coordinator is Chief Jay Gates with Huntsville Fire and Rescue 427-7401. Tonight - Unit 4 Medical Part II Monday, November 1st - Units 6&7 CERT Organization & Disaster Psychology Monday, November 8th - Unit 5 Light Search and Rescue Monday, November 15th - Unit 8 Terrorism Awareness at EMA Office, 320 Fountain Circle - Basement Monday, November 22th - Exercise & Graduation **Don't forget the Madison County CERT member ran website and discussion forums! www.certalert.org |
