This is not really politics, but I wanted to share this with y'all incase anyone wants to contribute. The Huntsville American League All-stars 9 and 10 year old team won last night to become state champs in a hard fought game against Jackson, AL. They are now qualified to go to a Multi-state tournament for 10 states in West Virginia next week. This is a neighbor-hood park team (Fern Bell) not a travel league team and they need help funding the trip expenses for rooms and gas. If any of you want to support some great local kids please contact one of our team mom's who is coordinating the fund raising effort as detailed below.
Thanks
Now, we have in front of us a once in a lifetime opportunity to compete in the Tournament of Champions to be held in the Legendary Mitch Stadium in Ceredo-Kenova, West Virginia. The tournament begins next Friday, July 29th. With such short notice to raise funds, we were not sure we could attend. However, we have decided to go on faith and to give the boys this opportunity they deserve and have earned. The trip is extremely expensive and we desperately NEED Donations!! Any amount you feel inclined to donate will be greatly appreciated. No amount is too large or too small. Please respond to me directly if you can help. Time is of the essence. We need to have an idea of how much we can raise in order to proceed with our plans. Please email me ASAP what you can donate to : vbragg2@comcast.net Please make checks to : HAL They can be mailed to me at: Vann Bragg 4 Carnoustie Lane Huntsville, AL 35802 256-527-5888 Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a difference in these children's lives and to provide this opportunity for Huntsville American League to go someplace we have never been. We are all proud to represent you and share in this together. Thank you in advance, Vann Bragg |

Pay Pal would be great.
I need to get back in touch with her. I recommended she set up pay pal and she said she like the thought, but had to get it approved by the park. I'll e-mail her and see if she has an account or link set up yet.
Thanks,
Paul

PAYPAL QUESTION ANSERWED BELOW. Paul,
I looked into this but we did not set up a separate Paypal account.. It says in order to have two accounts we have to link separate financial info, no big deal, but just have so much going.. We will be more than happy to receive the payment via paypal by sending to the following paypal account: If we request funds, they will keep 2.9% plus .30 Feel free to pay either way, we just appreciate the donation!! The support has been fabulous! Vann |
