so iv got my whole rearend down to just the frame. i already have my springs. i am considering buying the ruff stuff kit. which includes 2 frenched hangers, 2 shackle hangers, 4 4-6 shackle plates, and bushings. all for the great low price of 127.50   should i go this route or anyone else do it different or what? just looking for some info that might help and that i might have not thought of.
thanks, Benny V

Seems like a good way to go.  Main other option is the chevy spring swap kit from sky manufacturing, which I've been running for 6-7 years now.  Personally I'd rather not tear into my frame for frenched hangers, but then again it may be a good time to access the entire area inside the frame for proper rust treatment.

Im assuming you mean a Toyota single cab....

The Chevy springs I believe are marginal.  On the truck its not so worrisome, but on the 4runner, they just arent stout enough.  I dont know how you can haul anything in one of those Chevy trucks, with these uber-soft springs.  I had a set, and used an extra overload leaf, and they STILL wound up sagging and too soft.  I used the Trail-Gear rear springs and even those have sagged and seem a bit too soft now.  Trail-Gear stuff is available through either Danny at RCO or through Xtreme Roc rigs, both here local.  But if its a pickup, especially a bedless one, you may be OK.
