Angry This is wonderful here we have lost another freedom of choice right, the NC Legislation has done it again another another crazy law which removes YOUR RIGHT TO DECIDE what is best for your children. I undrestand the preassure has been put on them to come up with something, but restricting 16 year old kids on ATV's?Come on at 16 they can drive an automobile with 400 hp for God Sake.Ouch Didn't think of that

The deal is this we as citizens vote in these so called politicians to support our voices as a whole, but what we get is voices of Insurance Companies, Lawyers, and Large Money Contributors.

I have already e-mailed my legislator to revise this bill and If you reside in NC I ask you to do the same http://www.ncleg.net/House/House.html  Just a note (A new bill for restriction of cell phones use in a vehicle has past and has been sent up to Senate for approval. NO MORE PHONES with out hands free devises, no one under 18 can use them period in a vehicle, unless it is and emergency situation.) I have mixed feeling on this too.

This new ATV bill should have the thoughts in mind from the public ATV user's and the legislation. Did your legislator call you to see what was important to you? No and they want, but if you stay in tuned to the bills that are up you can voice your opinion by e-mail or phone and let them know before it goes through.

In closing know this, some laws are needed but everytime a bill of law is past that removes another right for you to decide. These politicians are voted in office to voice your interest, if you show none you will receive none.

I would like to say that if I was late in posting and article I apologize, if you will notice I just located this forum and just like the rest you I wanted to express my concern about new law's which may involve ATV use.

As for the readers comment, it was evident I wasn't posting and article that would be pleasing to everyone, I'm not aware of many people who are happy when there rights are removed.

If you feel lies have been told research my article through the proper channels and make your on opinion, if my posting are offending to you don't read them.  Thank you and Merry ChristmasEmbarrassed
