Case, I was just thinking about that sweet setup you have on your jeep and I was wondering if you took it out this weekend and "tested" this new setup?

If so, how do you like the RE 5.5" with the 35's?  Do you have any trail pictures, flex shots, ect??  I am so jealous , as your jeep must be sick!!

Have you done Jeremy's ramp yet? and compared it to stock rubicon with 32's?

Do you think you will need to re-gear with going to 35's?  I think the ruby has 4.10's from the factory and a 4:1 transfer case...Is that enough low end balls or are you going to regear?

No, I haven't gotten to wheel it yet...grad school is dominating my time right now.  Haven't even been able to flex it on a ramp yet.

I will regear in the near future.  It drives fine with the 4.10s right now and the 4-lo still feels plenty grunty, but I would like to run 4.88s or 5.13s when I get the real tires.

My gf is 5'4" and cannot get in it unassisted .  The next purchase will be rocker guards/steps.  A few more pieces of armor and then the regear will be next.

Case, I couldn't help but notice that your gf seems to have changed from the last time I went ridding with ya.

What do you mean the "real tires"?  Whats wrong with the tires you have on there now?

Once you do get to wheel it please take some pictures man, I would love to see them.  I really miss wheeling!!!  If only I could find a rig that I can afford LOL!!!!!

Why didn't someone tell me kids are so expensive

I got a set of 35" MTs so that I can still drive to work and back for longer than a week.  After the regear I will buy a set of groovy 37s for trail use.

Case, your right I have been gone a while.  I am trying to save for a rig.  You must have won the lottery dude new rubicon, 5.5" lift, two sets of tires.

I am in the process of looking for a new job, if I can get employeed somewhere that actually pays and gives things like christmas bonus or raises then I can get me a ruby or toyota pu..

I look forward to the pictures man!  If you happen to know of anyone that is selling a decent trail rig at a good price call me

I am incredibly lucky!  I am renting a house that is incredibly affordable and somehow managed to start dating an amazing and beautiful girl who would rather go wheelin/campin than go out on the town

Yeah, I got it to load this time.

I was hoping for a medium built rig to not built at all for cheaper than $6...

That is a decent rig though!  just don't have $6k sitting around and banks wont loan on vehicles as old as that.

Gotta keep in mind the magic "obo"!

I got a loan for a '79 CJ-7 from The Alabama Credit Union for $5,500 once.
