it says it's targeting the control and nav frequencies, unlike a directed broad spectrum EMP weapon that I've been wanting to figure out for a while. Agree with one comment that stated most non-consumer grade drones will go into a safe mode and either loiter or go home. It isn't going to mess up that feature unless it fries the wires/circuits, which needs a lot more power (see first sentence). Doubt this is much of a risk to legit planes since they have backup methods to GPS. Might be fun to use on the self driving cars though!
