Here is a shot of the new bridge at the lower end of trail 5.  I was told by one of the SFWDA chaps involved in Tellico managment that the USFS specs for this bridge calls for 40 ton capacity.  Why is this when the two bridges required to get to this one are only 15 ton capacity?

This is completely idiotic.

From what I recall, one of the biggest issues is not with load - but the fact that the bridge will see some pretty amazing forces when it floods.

But it's still ugly and disgusting.

 Do you go over the barrels or do you have to work around them and then up on it?
