I've really enjoyed all the times I've been there and the owners have been a lot nicer and more helpful than the people at WITC.

A group of people I ride with are going up there on Saturday.  It'll be my first trip.

Yep, that is his.  Super nice guy. You know him?  He mentioned somebody he knew in or around Athens with a Commando but I can't recall their name.  That you by chance?

I picked up a real nice Scrambler frame from him and a Holley TBI kit for my AMC 360.

Harold Ethridge has a really nice commando. Not sure where he's from, but he is in GA. Member of MTTR, has a beautiful yellow commando (looks kinda like a bumble bee, black and yellow).

There's 2 of us in Athens with Commando's that have met Scott at several of the American Jeepster Club Eastern Jamborees. You wouldn't believe how his commando looked a couple of years ago with blue paint and gold speckles.

4wd...thats about it...haha there is always an easier trail to ride on and there is enough peaple there to watch that makes it worth while...i took my stock xj there and had no troubles. and even with a mild lift and mts you can do more than you imagine.

haha dont worry bout it...yea they have this open separate field that they allow you to camp on, it is primitive and then there is a camp ground by the interstate at the exit for woolys that has full hook ups and everything.

Drayson McCain, he is the guy in Athens that I think you are looking for.  I think the last time I talked to him, he was into Bullnoses like yours.  He really helped me out with my 70 model.  He is a member of the board, his handle is "Dray".
