i have a 98 jeep wrangler and it drives fine and all but when i put it in reverse its like the gas is cut off and stalls
just started doing it any one have some ideas on this is it common or what and to add its a 2.5 and no hitch or trailer wiring has been put in so thanks for any help ahead of time |

Auto tranny? Look for a vac leak or broke line.

Any shorts in the rear wireing harness? Maybe the ground for the fuel pump and the ground for the reverse lights share a common tie. -BTW I deleted your first (blank) post in this thread- |

thanks for deleting the first post not sure how i did that lol
and as for the ground on the harness everything is tied in the way its supposed to be i have checked all connectors and everything still does it (but not all the time) but i am still checking for other problems and cracked wires and such so i ll keep ya all posted thanks |
