Man, I wish my wife would let me fund that!! But since I have a truck now, I don't think she'll see the need. :(

Ken, do you have more pics of it? I'd be curious as to whether the wheel lug pattern matches the Jeep (5x4.5). Tire wheel size? Does it come with the pintle hitch for the Jeep too? Did you do the painting or was this how you got it? That front panel looks either beat up or rusted/repainted, so was curious as to whether that was an issue.

There is light surface rust on the bottom, the front is not perfect, like the bed being a bit wavey but it's solid and rolls nice behind my jeep at 65 mph< I believe the wheels are 5 on 5 1/2 just like a CJ or YJ. The paint I did not do, but I know it's in great shape for a 62 year old trailer. I have had no issues with the trailer at all and Ive carried alot of stuff with it. Looks fantastic behind a Jeep. Not sure on the tire and wheel size right now.

Hi Ken, Did you put in the new bearings as mentioned above? If not, are the bearings in good enough shape to use now say for a couple hundred mile trip? Do you by chance have the original tail gate? Would you consider taking less in cash? I am not too far away and have some time in the next week or so. I am located just south of Atlanta.
Thanks,
Dave |

The old bearings are still in it, I haven had time to put the new ones in yet. It would be good for a 1000 mile trip.. still works great. I dont have the original tail gate. After I bought the new chains, all new studs, bed liner and bearings, (which come with it) I have over a grand in it but will take 875 if you want it.

Ken, I think I will take it. Can you send me your address and a phone number I can call you on. I will look at my calendar and see when I can make a run up there. Any days this week or next week that are not good for you or are better for you? I probably will not be able to come up on Sat or Sun, my son is having his eagle scout ceremony. Thanks, Dave

BTW, do you have a hitch that will work with a lunette? I use mine for more than just towing, (tow staps, chain pulls). You can get them from alot of places but their not cheap. Best to look at a mil surplus or something. If you cant find one Ill let mine go for 35.00. I can find another on on base here later for about that.
